Comedian John Crist, who is known for his viral videos and jokes about Christian subculture, has released a spoof of Nashville’s hot bachelorette scene.
In the new video, Crist and fellow comedian Trey Kennedy hit up popular pre-nuptial celebration spots in the city, including The Gulch, 12South and Lower Broadway. They make quips that imitate the groups of women seen in droves throughout the city.
“Oh my gosh, I just met the cutest guy. He said he’s a songwriter,” said Kennedy, as he walks past honky-tonks.
“Stop it. Did you get his number?” Crist said.

The spoof video was posted to both of their Facebook pages on Wednesday morning with the captions of “Every Nashville Bachelorette” and “Every Bachelorette in Nashville.”  An hour later, the videos were already wracking up thousands of comments and shares on the social media site.
By many accounts, Nashville is the most popular destination behind Las Vegas for pre-wedding parties. A new CMT reality series “Bachelorette Weekend” premiered in August.
Crist was scheduled to perform in July at Zanies Comedy Night Club in Nashville.
