Erika Jayne sparked rumors that she’s dating a new man — Jim Wilkes — when she stepped out with the lawyer and business manager in Las Vegas on May 28. According to The U.S. Sun, James has been friendly with the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star and her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, for years — he reportedly gave the reality star $500K to cover her legal fees after she filed for divorce in late 2020 following more than two decades of marriage. As Jim’s outing with Erika made headlines, he took to Instagram to dispel the romance rumors by making it clear that he’s still happily married: “My wife and me. Having a nice moment,” he captioned a snuggly selfie with his missus.

On May 25, Jana Kramer and her love of less than seven months, Allan Russell, took to Instagram to announce that they’re engaged. “A forever with you just feels right and has done since the day I met you. … I’m proud to call you my fiancé and cherish every minute we spend together. I love you, my little warrior,” the Scottish soccer coach captioned a slideshow of engagement photos. The “One Tree Hill” alum, meanwhile, shared the same shots, as well as a selfie showing off her new engagement ring while smiling alongside her beau and her two kids with her ex-husband, Mike Caussin. On her “Whine Down” podcast, Jana revealed that Allan popped the question in front of her children on the front porch of the house she’s building in the Nashville area. “We just both started crying, and it felt very sentimental given the front porch of the new house and new beginnings. It just felt right,” she said. It’ll be her fourth marriage.

On May 26, Vogue broke the news that Bella Thorne got engaged to her love of just nine months, Mark Emms, at her home in California on May 13 — less than a year after her last engagement (to Italian pop star Benjamin Mascolo) came to an end. According to Vogue Weddings, the actress-filmmaker and the entrepreneur met on the beach in Ibiza during Cara Delevingne’s blowout 30th birthday party in August 2022: “It was love at first sight as the sun rose,” the former Disney Channel child star gushed while sharing photos of her massive diamond engagement ring, which reportedly weighs in at more than 10 carats.

Former “The Bachelorette” star Andi Dorfman married her love of less than two years, Blaine Hart, in front of 75 friends and family members — including fellow Bachelor Nation stars Tayshia Adams, Hannah Ann Sluss, Nikki Ferrell and Amanda Stanton — at the Conca del Sogno Beach Club in Sorrento, Italy, on May 31. “Getting to spend my life with Blaine and being in love with him as much as I am is something that’s like a dream come true to me. … I’ve waited a long time for this day, and he’s my person,” the reality star told People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos. The duo first met during their college years but didn’t start dating until they reconnected more than a decade later in the summer of 2021. They got engaged in early 2022.

On May 25 — after Deux Moi reported that, according to an anonymous source, Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber got engaged back in April but are trying to keep their happy news under wraps — TMZ reported that, according to their sources, the 31-year-old Oscar nominee and the 21-year-old model are not, in fact, set to wed — not yet, at least! Austin and Kaia, who were first romantically linked in late 2021, reportedly moved in together earlier this year.
On May 30 — a little more than a month after Chanel Iman finalized her divorce from her first husband, NFL star Sterling Shepard — she and a different professional football player, Davon Godchaux, took to Instagram to announce that they’re engaged. “The blessings keep pouring, grateful for this new chapter and soon to be married and a forever to go,” they captioned a slideshow of photos depicting the proposal, which went down during their babymoon vacation in Capri, Italy. “What I thought was a babymoon in Capri turned into an incredible engagement. I love you so much, @chauxdown. You promised me the world and so far you have given me that and so much more!” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel captioned a photo of herself looking heavily pregnant with her third child. On May 3 — a little more than a year after they were first romantically linked — Chanel and Davon announced that they’re expecting their first child together. (They both have children from previous relationships.)
The rumors were true! On May 31, People magazine confirmed recent speculation that Kate Bosworth and Justin Long quietly eloped not long after they got engaged earlier this year. “After they got engaged, Kate couldn’t wait to marry Justin. She knew that she never wanted a big wedding. She just cared about being married. They kept talking about eloping. They ended up having an impromptu and casual wedding a few weeks ago. It was perfect. She is thrilled to be married to Justin,” a source said. Page Six, meanwhile, reported that the couple tied the knot at the Rockaway Hotel in New York City in early May.
On May 29 — six months after Ben Platt announced that he popped the question to fellow Broadway star Noah Galvin following more than two years of coupledom — the “Pitch Perfect” alum took to his Instagram Story to reveal that they recently got engaged for the second time. “He proposed back,” the two-time Tony Award nominee wrote across a photo of his new sapphire and diamond engagement ring from his love.
