NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Nashville is keeping its number one spot for the top Bachelorette and Bachelor destination as 2021 is quickly becoming a record-breaking year for the pre-wedding parties.
That's according to a travel report from The Bach, a party planning service.
The company took a deep dive into one million bachelor/bachelorette party plans and found that Nashville still reigns supreme over other cities, like Miami and Las Vegas.
And after the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of more than 40% of weddings in 2020, those getting hitched are ready to walk down the aisle, but not before what's becoming the biggest bachelor and bachelorette party season in history.
The Bach says 88% of people going to weddings are also going to at least two or more more bachelor/bachelorette parties this year. And 12% are attending more than five parties. A third of these are reported to have been rescheduled from 2020 and 31% had a destination change due to COVID-19.
