Do I have to use a specific type of device or phone?
Text Event Pics works on all smart phones, whether you use an iOS, android, Samsung or the latter. As long as your phone has the capability to take a photo and send a text, you can use Text Event Pics!
Can I use the same Event Phone Number in for future events?
Coming soon, we are working on the capability to have your unique phone number available for all of your events when using Text Event Pics. (Minimums may apply. Contact us for details.)
How do I share the Event Phone Number with my party or event attendees?
Once your account is activated, you will receive a text from us with your phone number and access to your account where you can view your event photos. You can then send a group text to your party, include it in an email and “bcc” your guests to keep info private, or wait and display it at the event itself. Larger events choose to display the number via flyers, banners, or on handouts (think marathon runs, etc).
Do I own my photos that are on Text Event Pics server?
Yes! All photos that go to your Event Phone Number are legally owned and copyrighted to you. This ensures that they will not be used for any purposes but for what you want, and will not be publicly shared unless you choose to do so.
How do I download my photos?
Simply go to the link that is texted to you on your phone, or visit www.mytep.com directly and log-in with your information. You will then have access to choose photos or download all photos to a zip drive, which will be emailed to you once complete.
How do I share my photos after they are downloaded?
You may choose to share photos in “real time” during an event before they are downloaded by live streaming them onto a projector screen or TV and driving instant event engagement. This additionally encourages party or event attendees to take photos and utilize the number in order to see their photo on the big screen.
Following the event, photos may be shared in a private album created by you, sent directly via email to friends and colleagues, selectively chosen and shared on social media, or printed.
