Bride-to-be Brittanie Barker, 25, invited more than 80,000 people to her bachelorette party Friday.
Well, sort of.
Barker and her band of bridesmaids drove to Nashville from Fort Wayne, Indiana, to celebrate her June 24 wedding at the CMA Music Festival. Although Nashville is one of the most popular destinations for bachelorette parties in the United States, Barker said, her decision to go south for her big night was more about the music and less about honky tonk bars or bars on bike.
“I’ve never been to Nashville before, so there’s no better time to come,” Barker said. “I’m the biggest country music fan there is.”

Barker said she saw Lauren Alaina, Bobby Bones & the Raging Idiots, and Josh Turner during Friday’s festivities. As she walked through crowds from concert to concert with her veil of white tulle crowning her head, her fellow country music fanatics stopped to congratulate her and give her words of wisdom.
The best advice she said she received was a classic tip: “Never go to bed angry.” And the worst: “Don’t do it, marry me.”
Barker celebrated her bachelorette party with four of her six bridesmaids and said she planned to experience some of Nashville’s famous night life when she and her friends headed back to the festival later that evening.
